What is DAAD?
DAAD stands for Driver Assessment and Appeal Division, which is an administrative agency a part of the Michigan Secretary of State, formerly known as a DLAD (Driver Assessment and License Appeal Office). In Michigan, in order to have your driver’s license reinstated, you have to have a DAAD hearing scheduled with the Secretary of State by filling out a form requesting a hearing at one of the Secretary of State’s branch offices.
