Post-judgment Relief Definition
Post-judgment relief allows a defendant to bring more evidence, raise additional issues in a case after they have been convicted, or have a conviction set aside from their public record, among other forms of relief. Post-judgment relief is also an opportunity for a defendant to have their conviction overturned, sentence reduced, or a new trial.
