Rehabilitation Definition
Rehabilitation is restoring someone to health or a law-abiding life through training, education, and therapy after or during imprisonment, court supervision, or lawlessness. If a court orders probation, they must consider terms and conditions that can help with the defendant’s rehabilitation. A person seeking to set aside a prior conviction through expungement must prove to the assigned judge that they’ve been rehabilitated.
